TV, Data & Security

Security cameras, fast internet in every room and a TV wall with no cables in sight.

Wireless gear only gets you so far. If your Wi-Fi drops out at the back of the house, your cameras keep disconnecting or there are cables hanging under the TV, the fix is proper cabling run inside the walls and roof.

We design and install security, networking and entertainment systems for homes and small businesses, and set it all up on your phone before we leave so you know exactly how to use it.

01

Security

Protect your home, family and business with gear that's installed properly and stays online.

CCTV & Security Cameras by Daxon Electrical

CCTV & Security Cameras

High-definition cameras covering driveways, entries, side gates and backyards, recorded to a hard drive and viewable live on your phone from anywhere. We prefer wired PoE cameras because they don't need charging and don't drop out like Wi-Fi cameras do.

Recorders & Phone App Setup

We install the recorder somewhere secure, set up motion alerts and recording schedules, and walk you through the app so you can review footage in seconds.

Alarm Systems

Back-to-base or self-monitored alarm systems with sensors, sirens and app control. Arm and disarm from your phone and get alerts the moment something's triggered.

Video Intercoms & Doorbells

See and talk to whoever's at the door from your phone, whether you're inside or overseas. We hard-wire them so there are no batteries to recharge.

Sensor Security Lighting by Daxon Electrical

Sensor Security Lighting

Pair your cameras with motion-sensor floodlights for clearer night footage and a strong visual deterrent.

02

Data & Networking

Fast, reliable internet in every room, not just next to the modem.

Cat6 Data Points by Daxon Electrical

Cat6 Data Points

Hard-wired data points for TVs, gaming consoles, home offices and printers. A cable beats Wi-Fi for speed and reliability every time, and we run it neatly inside the walls.

Wi-Fi Access Points

Ceiling-mounted access points fix dead zones at the back of the house, upstairs and out in the garage or granny flat. They're perfect for double-storey homes.

Network Cabinets & Patch Panels

A tidy data cabinet where all your cabling, modem and switch live, labelled and easy to manage. It's ideal for new builds and home offices.

Modem & Router Relocation

Move your modem to the middle of the house where the Wi-Fi reaches everywhere, with a proper data cable back to your NBN connection.

03

TV & Entertainment

A clean, finished entertainment area without the cable mess.

TV Wall Mounting & Concealed Cabling by Daxon Electrical

TV Wall Mounting & Concealed Cabling

We mount the TV on any wall type and hide every cable inside the wall, with power, HDMI and data behind the screen. Add an LED strip behind it for a floating, finished look.

TV Antenna Points

Extra antenna points in bedrooms, the rumpus room or the alfresco, wired back properly for a clear picture.

Home Theatre & Speaker Cabling

In-ceiling and in-wall speaker cabling, HDMI runs to projectors and surround sound pre-wiring, which is best done during renovations.

Smart Home Automation

Smart switches, plugs, sensors and energy monitoring tied together in one app, so lights, blinds and appliances run on schedules or with one tap.

FAQs

Common Questions

Wired or wireless cameras, which is better?

For a permanent setup, wired PoE cameras are more reliable and never need charging. Wireless cameras suit renters or spots where a cable can't go. We'll recommend what suits your property.

Can I view my cameras on my phone?

Yes. Every system we install can be viewed live and played back from a phone app, and we set it up with you before we leave.

How many cameras do I need?

Most homes are well covered with 4 cameras: front door, driveway, side gate and backyard. Larger properties or businesses may need 6 to 8. We'll walk the property with you and plan the angles.

Can you hide the cables when wall-mounting a TV?

Yes. We run power and data inside the wall behind the TV so nothing hangs down.
