Yes. We install customer-supplied fittings all the time. We just check they're Australian-approved and suit the location, for example IP-rated for bathrooms and outdoors.
Often not. Most LED downlights come in sizes that fit common halogen cut-outs. If the old holes are odd sizes we'll explain the options before we start.
Warm white (around 3000K) suits living areas and bedrooms, while neutral (around 4000K) suits kitchens, laundries and bathrooms. Tri-colour downlights let you switch between them, which is handy if you can't decide.
Usually the dimmer and the LED driver aren't compatible. We replace the dimmer with one matched to your fittings to fix it.
